MarMar is an American producer living in France who is crafting a unique blend of future-garage with electronic and alternative pop influences, resulting in a sound that can be likened to a mix between Duskus, Odesza and San Holo.
Mario launched the MarMar project back in 2020 giving us four impressive singles throughout that year. In 2021 Mario released another two stand-alone singles alongside a remix by one of his friends who goes by the name Easy Morning. He then took a little hiatus from releasing music throughout 2022 to marry the girl of his dreams and make the move to France.
While settling into his new life in a small town called Hem in the North of France, Mario was also feeling very inspired to create more music and he began working on a whole new collection of songs that he felt were an accurate reflection of the MarMar project’s direction.
Throughout 2023 Mario gave us six exceptional new singles with “Phoenix”, “Told You”, “At The End”, “You”, “Veins (feat. Ben Becker)” and closed out the year with “Coexistence”, which was a co-release with New Zealand artist munro that was released via San Holo’s independent label Bitbird.
By January 2024 Mario had already finished up a new six-track ep titled “Feel Okay”, which is being released on May 30th via Canadian label Seeking Blue. Over the last few months he has given us a single from that ep every couple of weeks, and the response so far has Mario feeling more inspired than ever to continue creating new music and collaborating with other talented musicians and producers across the globe.
