MarMar is an American producer living in France who is crafting a unique blend of Future/Garage/House music with strong alternative Dance influences, resulting in a sound that can be likened to a mix between Duskus, Odesza and San Holo.
After launching the MarMar project in 2021, Mario Pedron then took a little hiatus from releasing music throughout 2022 to marry the girl of his dreams and make the move to France. While settling into his new life, Mario was also feeling very inspired to create more music and he began working on a whole new collection of songs that he felt were an accurate reflection of the MarMar project’s direction.
Throughout 2023 Mario gave us six exceptional new singles with “Phoenix”, “Told You”, “At The End”, “You”, “Veins (feat. Ben Becker)” and closed out the year with “Coexistence”, which was a co-release with New Zealand artist munro that was released via San Holo‘s label Bitbird.
By January 2024, Mario had already finished up a new six-track ep titled “Feel Okay”, which he then released in May via Canadian label Seeking Blue. The response to that ep left Mario feeling more inspired than ever to continue creating new music and collaborating with other talented musicians and producers across the globe.
Shortly after that project came to a close, Mario signed a distribution deal with Believe Music, and throughout the year has given us tidy collection of outstanding singles with “Stay” featuring the voice of Australian artist arnii, double-single “Love You & All That It Is” which was a collaborative release with American producer Cotton Duck, “Cautious”, “Show Up” and “take me somewhere” which was a collaborative release with UK producer dg.
Lucky for us Mario is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon. He is already making big plans for 2025 and we can expect more new music from him very soon!
