MarMar is an American producer currently based in France, crafting a distinctive fusion of Future Garage and House music with strong alternative Dance influences. His sound can be likened to a seamless blend of artists such as Duskus, Odesza, and San Holo, creating an emotive and dynamic listening experience.
Launching the MarMar project in 2021, Mario Pedron quickly made an impact before taking a brief hiatus in 2022 to marry the love of his life and relocate to France. While settling into his new surroundings, Mario found fresh inspiration and began composing a collection of songs that truly encapsulated the evolving direction of the MarMar project.
In 2023, Mario returned with six standout singles: “Phoenix,” “Told You,” “At The End,” “You,” “Veins (feat. Ben Becker),” and “Coexistence”—the latter a collaboration with New Zealand artist munro, released under San Holo’s prestigious label, Bitbird.
By early 2024, Mario had completed a six-track EP titled Feel Okay, which was released in May via the Canadian label Seeking Blue. The overwhelmingly positive response to this project fueled his creative drive, leading him to embark on further collaborations with talented artists and producers worldwide.
Following the success of Feel Okay, Mario signed a distribution deal with Believe Music and continued to release an array of remarkable singles throughout the year. These included “Stay” featuring Australian artist arnii, the double-single “Love You & All That It Is” with American producer Cotton Duck, as well as “Cautious,” “Show Up,” and “take me somewhere,” a collaboration with UK producer dg.
Kicking off 2025 with major momentum, Mario announced a brand-new EP set for release in May. Two early singles, “Sobers Me” and “Missing Me,” have already received a warm reception from both music curators and fans across the globe. With another single expected ahead of the EP’s launch, anticipation continues to build for what’s next from MarMar.
