Arky Waters – UGETME?

Australian producer/DJ Arky Waters is launching into the new year with a ferocious new single called “UGETME?”, which is also the next taste of his forthcoming debut album and the follow-up to recent singles “Holdin On” and “Ay Papi.”

Blending the raw chaos of classic jungle with the hard-hitting intensity of modern drum & bass, “UGETME?” sees Arky pushing deeper into the dance floor realm he’s been steadily carving out. Fusing rapid-fire breaks, dark bass pressure, and a relentless sense of motion, the track taps into the worlds of Dance, Jungle, and DnB, landing somewhere between the atmospheric euphoria of Bicep, the club-focused innovation of Skrillex, and the gritty UK edge of Overmono.

“I wanted to make a hard jungle track for live use, at the time I made this I couldn’t find much jungle that bridged the line between hard dnb and something more traditional. I love the chaos and old school vibes of jungle breaks but sometimes when you play it out with a bunch of dnb it kind of dips the energy a little, so the goal here was to make something really high energy and intense. I wanted it to feel like straight adrenaline. The more and more I delve into electronic music I’m starting to dabble in thinking of songs as tools to tell a story within a dj set.” ~ Arky Waters
