Australian DJ/Producer Lemonade Baby blends the modern sounds of Toro Y Moi, Benee, and Sam Gellaitry with echoes of icons like Prince, The Strokes, and Daft Punk, showcasing his unmatched versatility in today’s music scene.

Just recently Lemonade Baby announced he has a new mixtape/album in the works and has since given us two new singles with ‘Seeing Double’ (a collaborative release with Ronnie Sinclair, aka Alistair Seawright from Safety Club), and ‘Airbnb’.

This week he has another new single to share with us called ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah (Lifestyle)’, which he reveals was written while traveling Japan and France and inspired by some talented people he met along the way…

“YYY is the only song to be entirely written while overseas. I started the beat in Japan and tracked the vocals in France. While being abroad I’ve met a lot of people who love the same electronic music as me. it’s been super refreshing and inspiring. I had this piano line I was starting with for the beat, then the drums, bassline and the “yeah yeah yeah” vocals.

All elements came together supernaturally, and I felt very emotionally connected to the instrumental when creating it. Being on the road has its limitations with recording vocals, I had this idea so quickly sang it into my voice memos and then forgot about the song the next month until I was in a hotel to record it.” ~ Lemonade Baby

‘Yeah Yeah Yeah (Lifestyle)’ is available everywhere now via Mammal Sounds Records
