South Korean-Australian artist Munan is giving us the next preview of his upcoming EP this week with new single “Fake Love Friday Night”, and energetic indie/psychedelic-rock track that showcases a fresh side of Munan’s artistry and songwriting.
“Fake Love Friday Night” is built around a dynamic guitar riff that drives the song forward, paired with a vibrant, anthemic chorus that disguises the raw emotion beneath. The song explores the unfortunate truth of a one-sided relationship, bringing together catchy melodies with introspective lyricism.
“I had the idea of Fake Love Friday Night for a long time. I’ve gone through numerous demos to find the right feeling for the meaning. I had the guitar riff looping at first, and from there, I started writing out the story of a man who has had enough of just being a ‘fling’.” ~ Munan
With a mix of infectious energy and emotional depth, Munan continues to carve his unique path in the indie music scene. More details on his upcoming EP coming very soon.
